Full-Time Building Inspector The Township of Parsippany – Troy Hills seeks one and possibly two qualified HHS Building Inspectors. Under the direction of the Building Subcode Official the duties include but are not limited to: field inspections and plan review for new and existing buildings to ensure compliance with the State Uniform Construction Code and does related work as required. Position requires excellent time management, communication, customer relations in the field and in the office and organizational skills. Applicant should have considerable computer and mobile technology skills. This is a full-time position in an extremely busy office with a full range of residential and commercial properties. There are several large projects proposed. The hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00am – 4:00pm. Applicant must possess a current and valid Building Technical Inspectors license HHS. A candidate with an RCS or ICS Building Inspector license may be considered, with the written understanding that the candidate will seek the higher license(s) as soon as possible. Multiple discipline inspector’s licenses are a plus, but not required. A valid and current New Jersey driver’s license is required. The candidate may be required to submit to a background check and medical exam. Parsippany has outstanding Medical Benefits and a liberal time off and Holiday policy.
