Duties include: performing inspections as well as supervising a staff of Sub Code Officials, Enforcement Officials, and Office Staff. Must possess current valid licenses, issued by the Department of
Community Affairs. In addition, Building HHS, Fire Subcode, and Building Subcode licenses are preferred, as well as a valid NJ driver’s license. Must be computer literate (Spatial Data Logic, Edmunds and other platforms); have strong management skills, with the ability to lead and direct personnel; as well as have excellent communication skills when dealing with the public.
